Lorraine E. Cole, 78, a lifetime resident of Aberdeen, died at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia on Thursday, May 23, 2013. She was born in Aberdeen on August 17, 1934, the daughter of John and Gladys (Loveless) Barton.
She graduated from Weatherwax High School in 1953 and her work included 30 years with Houghton Distributors and Pettit Oil. She retired in 1996.
Lorraine married Jack E. Cole in Reno July 5, 1979. He died in Hoquiam on December 10, 2001.
She was a member of the Aberdeen Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary and the Aberdeen Eagles. She enjoyed dancing, and family camping and boating on Lake Cushman.
Lorraine is survived by her daughter, Rene’ Winslow of Aberdeen; a step-daughter, Debbie McCulloch of Centralia; an uncle, Lawrence Loveless of Hoquiam; and several cousins.
A private interment will take place in Fern Hill Cemetery.
