Madonna M. Hall a resident of Sun City West, Arizona for the past five years and a former resident of Grays Harbor died on Monday, August 26, 2013, at the University of Washington Hospital in Seattle, Washington at the age of 70.
Madonna was born on October 17, 1942, in the Hoquiam General Hospital to Voyl “Bud” and Celest Marie (DeLateur) Wright. She graduated from Hoquiam High School with the Class of 1960.
Following high school she had worked at the paper mill in Hoquiam. In the early 1960’s she was married to Don Barr and they later divorced. Madonna had made her home in California for a few years.
While living in Aberdeen she had worked as a meter maid, for the Aberdeen Water Department, as a custodian for Aberdeen schools and as a realtor for Coldwell Banker.
In 1981, Madonna was married to Allen Hall and he survives at the family home. Besides her husband she is survived by four children, Don Barr in Maryland, Sean Barr of Petaluma, California, Stephanie Barr of Fairfax, California and Debbie Smitham of Graham, Washington; one brother, Joe Wright of Scappoose, Oregon; four grandchildren, Dillon Barr and Abby Barr of Petaluma, California, Jeoff Barr of Minnesota and Tony Barr of Olympia; and four nieces, Jodie Wright and Julie Wright, both of Aberdeen, Joell Wright of Ocean Shores and Jennifer Wright of Westport.
The family requests donations be sent to the Saint Peter Hospital Foundation, 413 Lilly Road NE, Olympia, Washington 98506.
There will be a private family service later. Cremation arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary, 422 – 5th Street in Hoquiam, Washington.
