Surrounded by his loving family, Mark Ronald Brown, 54, passed away on August 1, 2012, at an Everett hospital after a lengthy illness.
Mark was born on January 24, 1958, in Aberdeen, Washington, to Ronald Lee and JoAnn Brown (Kerr).
After graduating from Hoquiam High School in 1976, Mark followed in his father’s footsteps to become a car salesman, a passion that lasted more than 30 years. He held several positions during his career from sales to management. He worked the past 14 years at Smokey Point Buick-GMC in Arlington.
Mark enjoyed gardening, playing golf and spending time with his grandchildren.
On October 20, 1987, he married Peggy Boe in Everett, Wash. They would have celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary this year.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy, of the family home in Arlington; his mother, Joann Brown of Hoquiam; his sons, Brandon (Meaghan) Brown of Snohomish, Doug (Kari) Boe of Stanwood, and daughter, Rebecca Boe of Colorado Springs; his sisters, Candie (Dan) Gleason of Aberdeen, Pam (Jeff) McElliott of Montesano, and Leslee Brown (Chuck Jones) of Kent. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Austin & Ashley Brown of Snohomish, and Bronwen Boe & Helena McCash both of Colorado; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Lee, in 2006.

Per his request there will be no service. The family will be holding a Celebration of Life on Saturday, September 22, 2012, at the family home in Arlington. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to a charity of your choice.
