Mary “Lynn” Russell, a fifty-year Grays Harbor resident died Tuesday, October 29, 2013, in Elma. She was 56. Lynn was born September 22, 1957, in Brownwood, Texas to Raford and Wanda Phillips. She grew up in Elma and is a graduate of Elma High School.
Lynn married George “Skip” Russell on June 7, 1975 in Elma. He survives her at the family home in Elma. She spent her time as a homemaker. Lynn was dedicated to her family even taking in many children. She loved going to her children’s many sporting events and going to the casino with her husband. She loved going to Texas to visit family. She was a great friend to many and will be deeply missed.
In addition to her husband, George, Lynn is survived by her children, Tori and Tiffani Russell of Elma and Jeremy and Kori Russell of McCleary and 4 grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters; Brian Phillips of Satsop and Denise, Diane and Scotty of Texas.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 3, 2013, at Whiteside Family Mortuary in Elma. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 4, 2013, also at Whiteside in Elma. Interment at the Satsop Cemetery will follow. A reception will be held at the Satsop United Methodist Church.
