Patricia Mae Cogswell died at Grays Harbor Community Hospital on September 17th, 2012, at the age of 86 years old. Pat was born in Los Angeles, California, in 1925. Pat was married to Daniel D. Cogswell for 20 years. He passed away in August of 1965.
She is survived by her son, Daniel R. Cogswell; daughter, Patience L. Duncan; brother, Peter McFarland; grandsons, Jason Daniel Halvorson, Mike Duncan, Russel Duncan; and only granddaughter, Danielle Rose Judd.
All who knew her are welcomed to share in her passing with the spreading of her ashes, behind her beach home of more than 35 years, who she shared with her children, grandchildren, and many friends, whom she considered extended family.
In these years living in Ocean Shores she remained active in her community selling real estate; being part of Friends of the Library, and enjoyed genealogy.
Pat enjoyed her home all those years in the sharing with family and friends the living ocean beach. She believed all people should do the best they can with what they know.
She lived by goods choices, strong will, discipline, and honesty. She met life and ended life with dignity. We who loved her will miss her. Her laughter brought inspiration to many. A life lived well can never be less…. Meet you on Pluto; Miss Pat
