Phillip M. Bellafatto, III, “Rip”, age 47, left his family on May 13, 2012, to be with the Lord. He was born on March 20, 1965, to Phillip and Sandy Bellafatto. Phil grew up in Grays Harbor and attended school in Aberdeen.
He was very adventurous and loved fishing, clam digging and target practice with his nephew. Phil’s greatest talent was auto body. He loved to paint cars, of which he made a career for many years. He was an easy going guy with many friends, was willing to lend a hand to anyone in need and loved animals.
Rip was a member of the Church of the Open Bible of which he was baptized as a child.
Surviving relatives include his mother, Sandy Bellafatto of Aberdeen; two sisters, Tanya Vasquez of John’s River and Andrea Murdaugh of Aberdeen. He also leaves behind several aunts and uncles; his nephew, Forrest Wood; his niece. Lindsey Sherman; and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Phillip Bellafatto; grandmother, Margaret; and grandpa, Phillip Bellafatto.
He will be missed by many.
At his request, there will be no service.
Cremation arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.
