Phyllis Rae Cleaver Caffee, 73, a long time resident of Ocean City passed away on June 25, 2013 at her home.
She was born on January 14, 1940, in Sitka Alaska, to Richard and Victoria (Lapinski) Cleaver.
Phyllis worked most of her working years in the medical field in administrative and supervisory positions before retiring in 1990. She moved to Ocean City shortly afterward and enjoyed her home, garden, the native bird life, all things outdoors, and her beloved dogs.
Surviving her are her daughter, Faith Reynolds and granddaughter, Katie Hamlin of Longview, Wash.; son, Cary Krebs and daughter-in-law, Donna of Campbellsburg, Ky.; son, Kirby Krebs, daughter-in-law, Ida, grandsons, Elric and Aidan, and granddaughters, Eowyn and Xoe of Spokane, Wash.; and daughter, Marin Krebs Mapstead, son-in-law, Lars and granddaughters, Scotia and Skye of Aptos, Calif.; and sisters, Joyce Davis of Pahoa, Hawaii and Robin Clark of Pleasant Hill, Calif.
Cremation took place under the direction of Fern Hill Funeral Home, 2208 Roosevelt Street, Aberdeen Wa.
A celebration of her life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 3, 2013, at Screamin” Eagle Campground, 17 Second Ave, in Ocean City, Wash. It will begin with a morning visit to the beach (Ocean City beach access) where she enjoyed spending her time.
