Richard Allen Frafjord

Richard Allen Frafjord, 43, of Montesano, passed away on Wednesday, February 6, 2013, at Grays Harbor Community Hospital.

Richard was born on July 21, 1969, in Aberdeen, to Allen and Jeanine (Black) Frafjord.

Richard was raised in Montesano, and graduated from J.M. Weatherwax High School, Class of 1989.

He enjoyed being a prankster; had to have his radio on 24/7 (LOUD) ; he loved going to the sprint car races, the annual SS/WW baseball game where he could visit with all of the people he loved; going to the YMCA on the Grays Harbor Transit Bus Dial-a-Ride. He ate enough Tillamook cheese and drank enough Pepsi to own stock in both companies!!!

He is survived by his parents, Allen and Jeanine Frafjord of Montesano; his sister, Shari (Joe) Manley of Columbus, Montana; his nephew, Austin Manley and his niece, Sage Manley also of Columbus, Montana. He also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ole and Betty Frafjord and Dwight and Pauline Black; two uncles; cousins, Troy Frafjord, Steven Auld, Jr., and a very close family friend, Angela Jackson.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. today in the chapel at Harrison Family Mortuary in Aberdeen.

A graveside service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 12, 2013, at Wynooche Cemetery followed by a celebration of his life at the Montesano Moose Lodge.
