Shirley Ann (Everitt) Klein, 86, a long time South Bend resident died on April 24, 2012, at a nursing home near her daughter in Kalispell, Montana.
Mrs. Klein was born January 5, 1926, to Glenn H. and Margaret H. (Kilpatrick) Everitt in South Bend, Washington.
Shirley attended Immaculate Conception High School in Seattle, Wash.
Mrs. Klein married Victor McKinney and had two children while living in Ventura, Calif. She remarried John Wyatt and had two children while living in Great Falls, Mont. She later married William Klein who died in 2009. Mrs. Klein retired in 1994 after working 43 years as an Office Manager in various medical offices and hospitals.
She attended St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Raymond, and participated in prayer group.
Some of her hobbies and interests included reading, cooking, grandchildren, playing bridge, family gatherings. She also had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh. She was very positive about life, and was a great mother and wife.
Mrs. Klein is survived by a son, Keith Wyatt of Elko, Nev.; three daughters, Vicki A. McKinney of Manzanares, Spain, Dana K. McKinney of Santa Rosa, Calif. and Marjorie M. Wyatt-Smith of Kalispell, Mont. She also had special friends, Betty Everitt, Vicky Holden and Franci Mares in her life.
She was the youngest of 8 siblings, she is survived by brother, Charles Everett of South Bend. Her other 6 siblings preceded her in death.
She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 1, 2012, at the St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Raymond. Burial will follow at the Fern Hill Cemetery in Menlo. Arrangements are in care of Stoller’s Mortuary in Raymond.
