Longtime Hoquiam resident Teddy K McKay passed away on Friday, April 20, 2012, at Grays Harbor Community Hospital. He was 54. Teddy was born on March 18, 1958, in Longview, Washington, to Glenn and Phyllis (Klantchnek) McKay.
He attended school in both Hoquiam and Aberdeen. He married Paulette Narup at St. Mary’s in Aberdeen and they later divorced. Teddy worked as a logger and enjoyed working outdoors, mowing lawns, riding bikes with his son and flying kites at the 28th Street boat launch.
Teddy is survived by his daughter, Lindsey McKay of Cedar Hill, Mo.; son, Teddy McKay Bryan of Aberdeen; sister, Sherry Hinchen of Elma; three brothers, Glenn McKay of Sullivan, Mo.; Jimmy McKay of Hoquiam and Kenny McKay of Montesano.
Teddy was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jerry McKay and sister, Billie McKay.
