Vivian Jean Eddy died Sunday morning, July 7th at the age of 86. She was the daughter of Charles and Viola Harpel. Born August 7, 1926, in the family home in Olympia, Washinton. She had one brother, the late Duane Harpel.
Vivian married the late Howard Williamson in 1944 and had 4 sons; she then married the late Frederick Parsons in 1956 and had a son and daughter. In 1974, she married the late Robert D. Eddy, who passed away in 2006.
She spent her entire life in Washington. For a few years she was the owner of the West Side Grocery in West Olympia. She worked in the cedar industry in Forks and Moclips for some years before she retired. She then owned and operated Peggy’s Pantry in Copalis Crossing with her husband for many years and then retired again in Elma.
She is survived by her 6 children, David Williamson of Elma, Harold Williamson of Hoquiam, Lee Williamson, Philip Williamson and Steve Parsons all of Elma and Peggy Gorman of Texas. She has 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and nephew Duane L. Harpel.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday July 16, 2013, at the Masonic Cemetary in Elma, Washington. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 20, 2013, at Elma Church of God.
