Winnifred Antich of Aberdeen passed away at Grays Harbor Community Hospital on Tuesday, March 19, 2013. She was 93. She was born November 20, 1919, in Hebburn, England to William and Mary (O’Brien) Hall.
Winnie and her family moved to the United States when she was three years old. She graduated from J.M. Weatherwax High School and then went on to a business college.
She married Albert Antich and they were married for 62 years. They enjoyed traveling to England, Ireland, California, Australia, Hawaii and many other places. She enjoyed going back to England to the place where she was born and back to her roots.
She had been involved with the Feed the Hungry Program at St. Mary’s and had also volunteered at the Grays Harbor Community Clothing Bank.
Winnie is survived by her loving children, Patricia (Robert) Berbells, Edward (Lynn) Antich and John (Betzi) Antich; her sister, Eileen Wincewicz; 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert; and four of her siblings, Honor, Nellie, Billy and Scott.

A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 25, 2013, at Our Lady of Good Help Catholic Church in Hoquiam. A private committal will take place at Fern Hill Cemetery.
