I have happy tears in my eyes as my husband Fred and I are sitting in our car near the Salvation Army in downtown Aberdeen watching literally hundreds of precious families and adorable children trick or treating at the stores and the Heritage Church. We have greatly enjoyed the parade of loving, family adults making forever memories with children from tiny babies to young teens. We have seen many smiles, every child and many adults in costumes of many varieties. We’ve seen no stress, no rudeness, no crying, no arguments.
Today, we thank God for living nearly 50 years, in a fantastic county where lots of love, fun, and sharing still exists. God bless each resident, every age of our beloved Grays Harbor.
Last year we had more than 70 trick or treaters at our home. All costumed, very courteous and not litterbugs. We enjoyed each and every one of them.
