Twenty years ago I wrote letters to The Daily World expressing a concern over the use of corporations in the United States. One of my professional friends, John Forester, indicated that my concern was unfounded. Over the last 20 years the concern that I had has come true. The United States Supreme Court determined as a matter of law that corporations can give money in political campaigns — supposedly a Constitutional right. That fact is still the same; corporations should have term limits similar to the fact that politicians should have term limits.
