I just spent the last couple of weeks working as a temp receptionist at The Daily World. Recently there have been quite a few changes to the paper and I understand that change can be difficult for people to get used to. Only having the paper three days a week, a new carrier delivering your paper, or the new TV listings. Change is inevitable, but how we handle change and press on with our lives and responsibilities says quite a bit about our character.
The people that I came into contact with during my brief tenure at The Daily World have the greatest character and commitment to providing the best possible service to their customers and community. Please be patient as they are dealing with all of these changes just as you are. As a community we are all in this together and I for one am proud for my brief association with this fine institution.
