Help your neighbors rebuild

Rebuilding Together Grays Harbor is a non-profit organization in need of volunteers and new board members!

The organization aims to improve the lives of low-income, elderly and disabled homeowners in our county. They make home repairs, build wheelchair ramps, etc. so that citizens of Grays Harbor can live in safety and comfort.

New volunteers are always welcome and potential board members should contact Lee Hauser, the current president of Rebuilding Together Grays Harbor. Her email is lee.hauser@wellsfargo.com and her contact phone number is (360) 791-9763. Please consider this opportunity!

It only takes a few hours of your time to help change the life of a homeowner in Grays Harbor. Most rebuilding days take place on Saturdays and last for a few hours. Even giving one day of your time can have a lasting impact! For board members, there is a commitment of about two hours per month. This is a great organization for busy people with a heart for improving our neighborhoods one home at a time.

Nationally, Rebuilding Together is partnered with HGTV and the DIY (Do It Yourself) Networks. The organization “rebuilds” 10,000 homes per year! For every dollar donated to the organization, volunteers are able to deliver $4 of value in the projects they complete. Since its founding, Rebuilding Together has added $1.3 billion in market value to the homes they have revitalized.

Please consider becoming a volunteer or board member to “rebuild” Grays Harbor!
