HHS exchange student grateful for the experience

My name is Gular Gasimova. I am an exchange student from Azerbaijan. Being an exchange student was a great opportunity for me, I’ve learned a lot. I’ve changed a lot and made a lot of friends.

First of all I would like to thank you FLEX (Future Leaders Exchange Program) for giving an amazing opportunity to the kids from different countries and make their dreams to come true and World Heritage.

Thank you to my host mom Jackie Bredeson for hosting me and sharing American culture with me. I wouldn’t be able to have a successful year without you. I appreciate everything that you have done for me. I will miss you a lot and you always will be in my heart.

Special thanks to Alan Jackson and my local coordinator Donna Jackson for everything that they have done for me and supporting me. I appreciate it a lot. Without you I would never make it. Thank you for being so patient and helping with all the challenges.

I am thankful to Hoquiam High School, where I had a lot of fun and made a lot of friends. Thanks to all my teachers there for teaching me and helping with everything. I’ve learned so much this year.

Thanks to all my friends in Hoquiam. You mean a lot for me. I will miss you a lot.

Thanks to Terri Carrilo for an amazing birthday.

Also thanks to Andrea and Thamas Osborn for an unforgettable weekend. I had a lot of fun.

Thanks to everyone who made this year unforgettable. I will miss each of you a lot and will never forget you.
