How about a little warning?

I live just south of the city limits of Westport, and we have friends stay with us when they wish to go charter boat fishing. Recently, one of our guests got a ticket from a Westport police officer early in the morning on his way to go fishing. I’ve heard that he has given many tickets to visiting fisherman early in the morning.

I want to go on record as being opposed to this behavior — while I realize that I don’t live in the city, I do shop there, but I feel that will change, and I will do my shopping elsewhere to protest this “ticketing without warning.” And I’m quite sure I’m not the only one in the area who feels this way.
