I wanted to take the opportunity to share a delightful experience. That happened this May 21 when Lincoln School as part of their Social Studies class visited Hoquiam’s businesses and government buildings.
It was a wonderful learning experience for us as I am sure it was for the children.
As part of their tour they had lunch with us and where they had the opportunity to try chop sticks, and each stop offered a unique experience.
For my part I was most impressed with how well mannered the children were. I would like to thank Jody Harris, for bringing her class on the tour. I hope she and her staff enjoyed the experience as much as we did and I look forward to next year’s tour!
