It’s not her business

I agree and disagree with Ralph Larson’s Sept. 16 letter to the editor . I agree that he owns his own business and can hire who he wishes, and we do have budget and judicial problems in the county.

I disagree that Terry Willis should be able to run the county as her business and hire relatives. The county is not her business, it belongs to the citizens of Grays Harbor. If she didn’t know about hiring she should have asked someone who does.

I believe it was wrong to create a job for someone when there have been so many cutbacks with the regular employees. Maybe the commissioners should consider hiring students from low-income families.

If Terry Willis can’t run our business we need to find someone who can. I’m sure that some of the private business owners would do so.
