It wasn’t her money, it was ours

In his Sept. 16 letter to the editor, Ralph Larson makes two errors defending County Commissioner Terry Willis’ practice of nepotism. First, Willis is spending taxpayer money, not her own, when hiring her granddaughter. Secondly, Ralph claims “as long as the work is completed in a satisfactory manner.” Well, The granddaughter wasn’t qualified for the work she was hired to perform, so the work didn’t meet Ralph’s own requirement.
