Mayor supports Thomas for PUD

In every election at all levels, from the local PTO to President of the United States, the voter should select the best individual for the position — the person that will impact your life in a positive way.

All candidates are good people with good intentions but they vary in education, community involvement and with life experience the job will require once elected.

Chris Thomas, candidate for Grays Harbor District 1 PUD Commissioner, is a Labor Market Economic Analyst for the Washington State Employment Security Department, served two terms as a Montesano City Councilman and was elected by his peers to chair the Grays Harbor Council of Governments (GHOG).

Chris is also committed to making a positive contribution to his community by his involvement in the Montesano Kiwanis Club (past president) and the Montesano School District Parent Teacher Organization.

When elected Chris promises to 1) improve PUD efficiency and internal operational costs, 2) make the PUD more transparent and accountable, 3) maintain the reliability and safety of the PUD power infrastructure, 4) be an advocate for keeping your power utility rates at cost with local control.

In my opinion Chris has the proven public experience, countywide leadership and the strong commitment to public service that the voters of Grays Harbor County deserve. Please join me in voting for Chris Thomas for Grays Harbor PUD Commissioner, District 1. The right choice for the right reasons.
