R74 was the wrong decision

Referendum 74 seems akin to passing an initiative that states “two plus two is equal to five.” Then any student, when asked to determine the sum of two and two, may answer either four or five and be complimented on being right even though only four is correct when trying to determine the correct trajectory of a satellite.

It seems that campaign writers on both sides of any issue have been to a class on prevarication taught by Joseph Goebbels whose theme was (is) “If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it.” The repetition was aided by five members of the Supreme Court who do not know the difference between an individual and a corporation. They (the Supreme Court) apparently do not believe that there needs to be a limit on spending in an election.

Also, our electorate seems content to live in a state that supports sodomy and potheads.
