I wonder about the Chehalis Basin Flood Authority spending our funds on a flood warning system.
Do they know that there is already a system in place run by the U.S. Geological Survey that can be found at http://waterdata.usgs.gov/wa/nwis/current?type=flow.
It covers river flow on most Western Washington rivers and has been used by many for years. Best of all, it is free. There are several sites that fisherman have used for years to see river flow so why do we need another high cost system?
