All-Pacific League softball team named

Seven Grays Harbor players were named to the all-Pacific League softball team announced this week.

North Beach’s Koral Frost, Cora Pope and cousins Liz and Maria Garman and Ocosta’s Mikayla Sunde, Tiana Parker and Lexie Schmeling were included on the 10-player first team, selected from coaches’ all-opponent teams.

Naselle catcher-shortstop Kirsten Scrabeck received the league’s Most Valuable Player award.

Maynard Reed, who guided North Beach to the league championship, was selected by his peers as the league’s Coach of the Year. Ocosta received the Sportsmanship Award.
