Four Grays Harbor teams advanced to the semifinals of the Recreational Cup youth soccer tournament with quarterfinal victories last weekend.
The Harbor Sounders nipped the Mukilteo Lions, 2-1, in a boys U-14 quarterfinal at Everett. The Harbor Chivas blanked Longview Team Red, 2-0, in boys U-15 play in Longview.
The Harbor Crushers advanced to the boys U-18/19 semis with a 3-2 win over the TCP JSA Fire Rockets in Tacoma. The Montesano Renegades’ 6-0 win over the South Kitsap Sparks in girls U-13 competition was previously reported.
The Elma Dynamite girls U-12 team dropped a 2-1 overtime decision to the Lake Stevens Titans in Everett. Also eliminated were the Harbor Storm U-13 and Harbor Hooligans U-12 teams.
The semifinals and finals are scheduled for this weekend at the Starfire Complex in Tukwila.
