Twenty-seven members of the YMCA of Grays Harbor Sea Otters participated in the Northwest Regional YMCA meet. Annika Eisele of the YMCA of Grays Harbor Sea Otters won two events at the Northwest Regional YMCA swim meet recently.
Eisele won the girls 10-U 100-yard butterfly and 200 individual medley. She finished third in points in her age group.
A total of 27 Sea Otters participated in the meet, which drew more than 500 swimmers from four states.
Sea Otters to place in the top eight:
Boys 8-U
Logan Sias — sixth, 50 breast; eighth, 50 back, 25 breast, 25 fly.
Girls 10-U
Raina Arden — fifth, 100 fly. Annika Eisele — first, 100 fly, 200 IM; second, 200 free, 50 fly; third, 50 back; fourth, 100 back; fifth, 100 free. Melissa May — fourth, 100 breast; fifth, 50 breast; sixth, 200 IM; seventh, 50 free. Anna Weber — fourth, 100 fly; seventh, 200 IM.
Girls 11-12
Karli Heikkia — fifth, 50 free, 100 free; eighth, 50 fly.
Girls 13-14
Emily May — third, 50 fly.
Boys 13-14
Dustin Young — fifth, 50 back; seventh, 50 fly; eighth, 100 free.
