Montesano’s Trimble to officiate 2B title game
Tyler Trimble of Montesano has been assigned to officiate in the Gridiron Classic state football championship extravaganza this weekend.
Trimble, a member of the Lewis County-based Southwest Washington Football Officials Association, will be the head linesman for Friday’s 2B title game between Morton/White Pass and Lind-Ritzville/Sprague.
Poggies to meet
The Grays Harbor Poggie Club will meet at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Hoquiam Elks Hall.
Monte Little Dribbers session canceled
The Montesano Little Dribblers youth basketball clinic, scheduled for Saturday, has been canceled due to a conflict with Saturday morning’s Montesano-Royal state football championship game in the Tacoma Dome.
The Little Dribblers program will resume Dec. 15, with sessions planned from 8 to 9 a.m. for kindergarten and first-grade boys and girls and 9 to 11 a.m. for second-through sixth-graders.
