Hoquiam’s Espedal honored
Hoquiam senior Ronnie Espedal received second team recognition on an all-state football team chosen by the Tacoma News-Tribune.
The 195-pound Espedal was selected as a second-team linebacker on the all-classification team. He was the lone Grays Harbor player recognized.
Gardner bowls perfect game
Joe Gardner of Aberdeen bowled a perfect 300 game on Friday at Rainier Lanes.
Competing in the Friday Night Mixed League, Gardner rolled his perfecto in the first game of a 707 series. It was his first-ever 300.
