Grays Harbor Bearcats return for 2014 with preseason game on Saturday

The sixth season of Grays Harbor Bearcats semi-pro football will kickoff Saturday at 6 p.m. at Stewart Field.

The Bearcats will host Pacific Football League rival Portland Monarchs, who knocked the Bearcats out of the PFL postseason last year, in a preseason game. The Monarchs won, 26-15, in their last meeting.

The Pacific Football League will be a 10-team league this season. Grays Harbor will host seven games this season, including a non-league contest against the San Diego Thunder, a semi-pro team in the United Football Alliance League, on May 31.

Season tickets for the Bearcats are $25 and are on sale through Young Life, the Bearcats Cheerleaders and players.
