LOS ANGELES —Well, that looked familiar.
MONTESANO — Montesano kicked off the second half of its season by showcasing one of its best game performances against rival Elma on Thursday night.
Scoring four goals in less than 15 minutes, Aberdeen jumped out in front and hung on for a 4-1 win over rival Hoquiam in an Evergreen 2A/1A League match at Olympic Stadium on Thursday.
Winning seven of the first nine events, Aberdeen’s strong start was more than enough to hold off Centralia/Chehalis/Rochester, 110-70, in an Evergreen 2A girls swimming meet at the YMCA of Grays Harbor on Wednesday.
The inside track to the Evergreen 2A/1A League title will be decided at Rottle Field on Friday night. This is the main game of the night on the Twin Harbors.
