Three Harborites make it onto all-Pacific League baseball team


Three Twin Harbors players were named to the All-Pacific 2B baseball team, which was released on Tuesday.

North Beach’s Josh Takagi, Ocosta’s Michael Dewood and Twin Valley’s Gavin Baltzell were named to the first team by the league coaches.

Rob Schreiber, North Beach’s head coach, was named Coach of the Year. Twin Valley, a combine of Lake Quinault and Wishkah high schools, was given the sportsmanship award.

Naselle’s Sam Scrabeck was named league MVP.

Four other Twin Harbor players were named honorable mention — North Beach’s Mike Beck, Ocosta’s Caleb Tackett and Twin Valley’s Kobe Kalama and Jace Anderson.

The all-league team is:

MVP — Sam Scrabeck, Naselle.

Coach of the Year — Rob Schreiber, North Beach.

Sportsmanship — Twin Valley.
