In an effort to hear directly from residents of Washington’s 6th Congressional District, Rep. Derek Kilmer, D-Wash., has announced he will hold a series of town halls throughout the region, including one at Aberdeen High School on Sunday, Aug. 13. Town halls are open to the public. Participants will have the opportunity to hear an update on Congress and ask questions.
The Aberdeen session will be from 2-3:30 p.m. at the high school auditorium. In 2016, Kilmer held seven town hall meetings throughout the district. So far in 2017, he’s held four and also continues to hold telephone town halls.
“I work for the people I represent and it’s important to me that I get opportunities to hear directly from you,” Kilmer says. “I hope folks will be able to join one of my upcoming town halls to share their ideas and concerns.”
