Harbor BOOKS & Gifts celebrates Children’s Book Week
In honor of the 2018 Children’s Book Week: One World, Many Stories” Harbor BOOKS & Gifts will host several Pacific Northwest authors.
Author/illustrator April Bullard, will be on hand Friday, May 4, as she reads from her book “The Sock Thief” and shares her experiences as a self-published author, poet, performer and illustrator at both 3:30 and 5 p.m.. At her Character Workshop, at 4 p.m., she’ll spend time sketching and talking about how she creates her characters.
An author meet and greet event from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, May 5, will feature five Pacific Northwest children’s book authors: Gene G. Bradbury of Sequim; April Bullard, 12-year-old Gwendalyn Belle and Signe Kopps all of Portland, Oregon; and Gregory E. Zschomler of Aberdeen. All will be signing their work.
