The 16th season of Sunday Afternoon Live at the Raymond Theatre will debut this weekend with a performance by piano duo Stephanie & Paolo.
Stephanie Trick and Paulo Alderighi play a mix of jazz, ragtime, swing, boogie-woogie and blues duets — on the same piano.
The husband-and-wife duo met during a piano festival in Switzerland in 2008. Trick, a St. Louis native, is a classically trained pianist; Alderighi is one of Italy’s foremost jazz pianists. Together, they perform extremely complex four-hand piano duets.
The performance will begin Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Raymond Theatre, 323 Third St in Raymond.
Tickets are $15 at the door, or may be purchased in advance for $12 at the theater’s box office, Raymond Pharmacy, South Bend Pharmacy or online at www.sundayafternoonlive.org. Season tickets also are available for $65 per person.
