Huskies rise to No. 7 in AP poll
Three top-10 teams lost Saturday — Oklahoma, LSU and Auburn — and the Washington Huskies benefited Sunday.
Washington moved up three places to No. 7 in The Associated Press Top 25 poll following their 31-24 victory at UCLA on Saturday night.
The Huskies are 5-1 overall, and 3-0 in the Pac-12, as they prepare for Saturday’s rivalry game against Oregon in Eugene. Kickoff is set for 12:30 p.m. on ABC.
The Ducks (4-1), idle last week, climbed one spot to No. 17 in this week’s AP poll.
Colorado (5-0) is the only other Pac-12 team ranked this week. Stanford and Washington State fell just outside the top 25.
