Margaret Bell Frost, passed into the hands of God on Oct. 24, 2016, in Tumwater. Margie was born on April 3, 1924, in Centralia, Wash., to Frances M. (Szydtowski) and Andrew M. Kotros. Margie was the eldest of four girls and was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Anne McGuire, Jeanne Osborn and Maryann Grau.

The family moved to Hoquiam where she attended Lincoln Grade School, Hoquiam Jr. High, and Hoquiam High School graduating in 1943. Margie participated in many clubs and was a majorette for the band. After high school she attended Grays Harbor Community College in business.

She had worked at Kress & Co. and for ITT Rayonier as a chemist. There is where she met Robert (Bob) B. Bell, Sr. in 1946. They married at the Trinity Episcopal Church in Hoquiam on Jan. 25, 1947, and lived in Amanda Park and then to Grayland.

In 1962, they moved to Montesano where she worked at the Montesano Public Library. After Bob passed away in June of 1982 she continued her work and retired at the end of 1985.

In 1984 she met Alvin (Jack) L. Frost and they married in July 1985. He died in 1995.

She was involved in numerous clubs and organizations. She loved her grandchildren and enjoyed watching their sporting events, dance recitals and school programs.

In December 2000, she moved to Panorama City and then September 2005, she moved to The Hampton where she resided until her passing.

Margie is survived by her son, Bob Bell (Tina) of Craig, Alaska; daughter, Kathryn Ekar (Kevin) Olympia, Wash.; four grandchildren, Tammy Thomas (Steve); Zach Bell (Tamara); Lindsay Bell-Risling (Brian), all of Las Vegas, Nev.; Nicole Ekar, Olympia, Wash.; eight great-grandchildren, Hannah and Chase Thomas; Adison and Sam Bell; Bella, Brian and Baron Risling; Lenora Ekar.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, Oct. 28, 2016, at the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam with Father Seraphim Majmudar officiating. Concluding service and vault interment will follow in the Sunset Memorial Park in Hoquiam.

Direction is by the Coleman Mortuary, 422 – 5th Street in Hoquiam, Wash.
