Michael G. Nix, son to Lucille Snow, passed away Sunday, Nov. 6, 2016, at the age of 63. Michael was raised in Hoquiam, Wash., the third in line of four siblings; Jim, “Bob” Robert, and Patricia (Ramey) Nix. Michael was a father from a young age and found the most purpose and meaning in life from raising his three children; Wendy Nix (Mother Judy Guy) and Josh, and Shannon (Cohen) Nix.

Michael also cared deeply for his wife of 20 years, Patti Nix. They spent many years raising their children in Ocean Shores where Michael found happiness in family life and as a successful business owner of Michael’s Family Salon.

Years later Michael discovered the beauty of the rivers and mountains of Leavenworth, Wash. He relocated there and lived the remainder of his days in the Wenatchee Valley.

Michael will be remembered as a sensitive man with a heart of gold who valued family above all else.

He is preceded in death by his Mom Lucille and brother Bob. He is survived by his sister Patricia, brother Jim, his three children and six grandchildren.
