A 2000 Honda Civic driven by a 25-year-old Montesano woman was heading eastbound on State Route 12 and was attempting to turn left onto Monte Brady Road at about 1:45 p.m. According to the State Patrol, the driver failed to yield to a 2010 Nissan Sentra driven by a 40-year-old Aberdeen woman heading westbound on the highway.
After the collision the Honda came to rest on the right side of the Monte Brady Road and the Nissan in the ditch of westbound State Route 12.
