William M. Richardson, 88, lifetime Aberdeen resident and former maintenance supervisor at Evans Products, died Sunday, March 22, 2020, at Grays Harbor Community Hospital in Aberdeen, Washington.
William was born on Oct. 3, 1931, in Aberdeen, Washington, to John Robert and Mazy Louellen (Edwards) Richardson. He graduated Salutatorian of Wishkah Valley High School in 1950. Soon after he went to work for Evans Products and retired in 1985.
On June 25, 1955, William married Mary Louise Erickson at Calvary Lutheran Church in Aberdeen, Washington. She passed away on July 10, 2014.
William loved to fish when he was younger. He enjoyed working with his hands building things, including his home, and he loved spending time with his family.
William is survived by his sons: John (Roxanne) Richardson and James Richardson, all of Aberdeen; a daughter, Diana (Ken) Swanson of Elma; a sister, Nancy (Duane) McDougall of Montesano; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by brother, Howard Richardson, and two sisters: Ruth Anderson and Margaret Butler.
There will be a celebration of his life at a later date when all can attend. A private burial will take place at Fern Hill Cemetery, Aberdeen, Washington.
