Smith Creek boat ramp to close for repairs

The public boat ramp on Smith Creek in northern Pacific County will be closed Dec. 12-15 for renovations.

The ramp is owned and maintained by Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife.

Crews will be replacing the dilapidated ramp with new six-inch thick concrete planks that will provide reliable access to the creek and to the northern end of Willapa Bay. Other areas of the Smith Creek Water Access Site will remain open during the process to upgrade the ramp located 10 miles northwest of Raymond on State Route 105.
