William F. Henry Jr., passed away unexpectedly on Feb. 3, 2020. He was born on December 5, 1952, in Aberdeen, Washington, to William F. and Laura I. (Johnson) Henry.
Bill graduated from Aberdeen High School in 1971 and served in the United States Army. He worked for Major Lines and as a carpenter before retiring after 16 years from the North Beach School District, where he was known as “Mr. Bill.” He worked at the elementary and junior/senior high schools and was proud of all “his kids” there.
He is survived by his brother, Robert Henry of St. Petersburg, Florida; a sister, Diane (Hank) Roehrich of Olympia, Washington; a nephew, Jim Sanderson and his wife Mary and their children, Joe, Katie and Chris of Seattle; and a niece, Marie Roehrich and her husband, Chris Garrison and their son, Aki of Eugene, Oregon.
A private family gathering will be held later.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the North Beach High School, P.O. Box 969, Ocean Shores, WA 98569.
Cremation arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.
