One minor injury in Highway 12 car vs deer wreck

A 66-year-old Aberdeen man was taken to Grays Harbor Community Hospital after a vehicle he was a passenger in hit a deer on Highway 12 at Monte-Brady Road.

According to a State Patrol report, a bit after 9 p.m. Tuesday the vehicle was westbound when a deer darted across the road. The driver swerved but collided with the deer.

Two other adult passengers and a 5-year-old passenger, all from Westport, were not injured, according to the report.
