Frances J. Wenzel

Frances Joan Wenzel of Aberdeen died Friday, Dec. 16, 2016, at her home in Aberdeen. She was 74.

She had been a medical transcriptionist for several local doctors including Dr. Memon and Dr. Pollock.

There will be no services for her.

Cremation arrangements are by Twibell’s Fern Hill Funeral Home in Aberdeen.

Elwood L. “Woody” Howard

MONTESANO — Elwood Lee “Woody” Howard, a 21-year resident of Ocean Shores, died at Montesano Health and Rehabilitation Center, Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2016. He was 94.

He had been a fighter pilot in P38s for the Army Air Corps in World War II and returned to the Air Force in the Korean Conflict. He was a graduate of St. Martin’s College and had worked for over 25 years as an auditor and appraiser for the State of Washington Department of Revenue.

At his request there will be no formal funeral services.

Cremation arrangements were by Twibell’s Fern Hill Funeral Home, Aberdeen.

Jack Werner Sr.

Jack L Werner Sr. of Ocean Shores died Sunday, Dec. 25, 2016, at Grays Harbor Community Hospital in Aberdeen. He was 90.

Arrangements are by Harrison Family Mortuary of Aberdeen.

Beverly J. Niemi

Beverly Joan Niemi of Montesano died Friday, Dec. 23, 2016, at Grays Harbor Community Hospital in Aberdeen. She was 81.

Services are being planned and will be announced when details become available.
