Mellitox is a nutritional supplement marketed towards diabetics and pre-diabetics.
By taking the supplement daily, you can purportedly restore perfect blood sugar levels – even if you have type 2 diabetes.
Is Mellitox yet another overhyped, overpriced diabetes supplement? Or is this a real way to support healthy blood sugar levels? Find out everything you need to know about Mellitox today in our review.
What is Mellitox?
Mellitox is a diabetes supplement sold online through Mellitox.com.
The supplement claims to support healthy blood sugar levels for people with diabetes. By taking Mellitox daily, you can purportedly support blood sugar back to a normal, healthy range.
According to a customer testimonial on Mellitox.com, one woman lowered her blood sugar from a dangerous 498 to a healthy 117 after taking Mellitox. That woman avoided her leg amputation by taking Mellitox – all without relying on the “shady practices” of pharmaceutical companies and doctors.
Mellitox.com also claims that the supplement has helped the lives of over 184,000 type 2 diabetics all over the world.
There’s no known cure for diabetes. However, studies show that diabetics can support their condition using prescription drugs, dieting, and exercise.
Mellitox.com seems to suggest otherwise, describing its “super nutrient” formula as a way for anyone to “restore perfect blood sugar levels” in a short period of time.
Clearly, Mellitox.com believes in the power of its supplement – but let’s take a closer look at how Mellitox works to see if it really helps support blood sugar.
The Story Behind Mellitox
At Mellitox.com, you’ll learn the story of a man who watched his wife, Lizzie, struggle with diabetes and obesity.
Lizzie’s type 2 diabetes became so severe that her doctor recommended amputating her leg. Lizzie nearly died from her type 2 diabetes.
Lizzie’s husband, James Miller, decided to help. James is a 53-year old ambulance driver from Austin, Texas. He started researching natural cures for diabetes. His search took him all over the world, and he eventually stumbled upon a Vietnamese village that had low rates of diabetes.
“…right when I started to lose any hope, God sent me to a remote Vietnamese village. I was surprised by how welcoming its inhabitants were. But what surprised me the most was how well in shape they were, even the most elderly ones.”
James tells a wild story. He claims the world’s elites visit this village on an island in Vietnam. The village has anti-aging effects. None of the villagers have type 2 diabetes, and elites keep the place secret to suppress the cure for diabetes:
“…as I got to talk to the villagers, I gradually came to understand everything. I learned why the elites would only speak in quiet about this place as if they wouldn’t want too many people to know. I understood why the villagers were so proud of their culinary culture, why none of them had type 2 diabetes.”
To make a long story short, the villages in Vietnam told James and his wife to take various herbal and plant extracts for diabetes. These Vietnamese villagers claim these herbs and plants help them stay healthy and avoid diabetes.
James gave these herbs and plants to Lizzie and witnessed powerful benefits:
Lizzie lost 48 pounds of raw fat
Lizzie lowered her blood sugar from a dangerous 498 to a healthy 117
Lizzie supported her healthy heart, arteries, joints, and bone strength
Lizzie achieved all of these benefits without a single visit to the doctor
Lizzie did not diet or exercise whatsoever, nor did she take the insulin medication prescribed by doctors to treat diabetes
James returned to the United States, packaged the natural ingredients into Mellitox, and sells the supplement online to diabetics and pre-diabetics. He offered to pay the Vietnamese villagers $20,000 for the treatment, but they decided. Today, James sells the formula online for around $70.
James and Lizzie Miller do not claim to be medical doctors, naturopathic doctors, or other health specialists. They claim to be two ordinary people who stumbled upon a way to eliminate diabetes.
Obviously, it would help if you were skeptical any time someone claims to have discovered a natural solution to a centuries-old problem. Let’s take a closer look at what’s inside Mellitox and how it works.
How Does Mellitox Work?
Mellitox contains a blend of herbal and plant extracts that purportedly support blood sugar in diabetics and pre-diabetics.
The herbal and plant extracts include adaptogens – natural compounds that support your body’s defense against physical and mental stress. Traditional medicine practitioners have used adaptogens for centuries to relieve tension in various ways.
In fact, Mellitox contains more relaxing herbs and adaptogens than we would typically find in a diabetes supplement. Based on several of the ingredients (including notable soothing herbs like chamomile), Mellitox seems like a combination between a sleep aid and a diabetes supplement.
Here are all of the ingredients in Mellitox and how they work, according to Mellitox.com:
Ashwagandha: Ashwagandha has “miraculous powers” according to the Mellitox team. It’s been shown to be “very effective in lowering blood sugar levels,” according to one study cited on Mellitox.com. As an adaptogen, ashwagandha can also fight anxiety and boost brain function while helping your body manage stress, among other benefits.
Chamomile: Chamomile extract can also lead to “significantly lower blood glucose levels,” according to one study cited by Mellitox. Chamomile is typically found in sleep aids for its relaxing effects. However, Mellitox claims their chamomile extract can support healthy blood sugar levels while also supporting cholesterol, among other benefits.
Skullcap: Skullcap can purportedly improve the activity of antioxidant enzymes in the liver while lowering blood sugar levels, according to Mellitox.com. The company also cites one study showing skullcap lowered cholesterol in people with type 2 diabetes. Some studies show skullcap influences GABA neurotransmitters, which can help support physical and mental benefits throughout the body.
Because of these three ingredients, Mellitox claims to be “the holy grail of type 2 diabetes and health.”
All of these ingredients were abundant on the Vietnamese island mentioned above. The villagers took these three ingredients regularly to enjoy powerful anti-aging and anti-diabetic effects.
James and his wife claim to have tested the formula to find the perfect concentration of ingredients and dosages to make the supplement work as advertised.
Mellitox Ingredients
Mellitox discloses limited information about its ingredients and dosages online. Although we know the doses of some vitamins and minerals in Mellitox, most of the formula lies within a proprietary blend.
We don’t know the overall dosage of that proprietary blend, nor do we know the blend’s individual doses. Its possible Mellitox contains 10mg of formula – or 1,000mg. You need to trust that the manufacturer has used safe and effective doses of all listed ingredients.
In any case, the full list of ingredients includes:
Vitamins: Mellitox contains a significant dose of multiple B vitamins, including vitamin B1, vitamin B2, niacin, vitamin B6, biotin, and pantothenic acid.
Minerals: Mellitox contains calcium, magnesium, zinc, and potassium. There’s less than 3% of your daily value of calcium, magnesium, and potassium. However, Mellitox contains a significant dose (114% DV) of zinc.
Proprietary Blend: Mellitox contains a proprietary blend with an unlisted dosage. The company discloses all ingredients within that proprietary blend, although we don’t know the total dosage or individual dosage. Ingredients include Rhodiola, lutein, ashwagandha, chamomile, GABA, lemon balm extract, skullcap, hawthorn, Bacopa, magnolia, passionflower, valerian, oat straw, mucuna pruriens, St. John’s Wart, hops, and Griffonia simplicifolia.
Other Ingredients: You can’t bundle the ingredients above together to create a supplement. It would be best if you had a capsule and components to hold the formula together. However, Mellitox does not disclose other ingredients upfront. We don’t know if Mellitox is packaged within a gelatin capsule or a vegetarian capsule. We don’t know if it contains artificial stimulants or preservatives – or natural additives.
The lack of ingredient transparency is unusual – especially for a supplement marketed towards diabetics. Dosing is important. Supplements with strong doses often want to advertise those doses. Given the lack of transparency regarding its label, it seems unlikely Mellitox has substantial doses of any listed ingredients.
Scientific Evidence for Mellitox
Mellitox has not completed any clinical trials or scientific studies to verify its safety or efficacy.
However, the makers of Mellitox insist the formula is completely safe and effective for anyone to take. As mentioned above, Lizzie had a severe case of type 2 diabetes – only to reverse her condition and avoid amputation by taking Mellitox daily.
The makers of Mellitox also claim their formula is proven “Based on the tens of thousands of successful results we’ve seen.” Based on those results, they claim that “Mellitox is more powerful than any diet in the world” for people with type 2 diabetes.
Mellitox.com also claims, without evidence, that Lizzie and “over 184,000 other type 2 diabetics from all corners of this planet” have taken Mellitox. These people have been able to “eliminate all the debilitating symptoms of diabetes” – often within just weeks of taking the formula.
If Mellitox was able to cure diabetes, it would be the biggest medical breakthrough in decades. Typically, doctors recommend dieting, exercise, and prescription medication to manage and reverse type 2 diabetes. If Mellitox can provide similar benefits in the form of a supplement, it would be major news.
Unfortunately, there’s no scientific evidence supporting any of the bizarre claims on the Mellitox.com sales page.
Most diabetes supplements contain ingredients like cinnamon extract. Cinnamon is not proven to reverse type 2 diabetes, but some studies show it can support blood sugar.
Other fruit extracts have shown similar results.
Or, some people with diabetes have reversed their condition and kickstarted insulin production by following a low-calorie diet for an extended period. One study showed that eating 600 calories per day for 6 months effectively reversed type 2 diabetes.
Unfortunately, Mellitox does not contain cinnamon extract or other diabetes supplement ingredients. Instead, the supplement contains unlisted dosages of relaxing herbs and plant extracts, including chamomile and Rhodiola rosea. These herbs may help you fall asleep and defend against stress, but there’s zero evidence they impact diabetes.
As WebMD explains, some naturopaths recommend taking Rhodiola rosea extract to protect cells from damage, regulate heartbeat, and support blood sugar. However, there’s insufficient evidence linking Rhodiola rosea to diabetes benefits. Nevertheless, this 2014 study performed by researchers in China linked Rhodiola rosea extract to “antihyperglycemic action” after finding Rhodiola rosea lowered blood sugar in diabetic rats. That study was conducted on rats – not humans – and used a much different dose than what we see in Mellitox.
Overall, there’s no evidence supporting any of the claims made on the Mellitox.com sales page, and there’s no proof Mellitox can help diabetics manage or reverse their condition in any way.

Who Created Mellitox?
Mellitox was created by a husband and wife team named James and Lizzie Miller. Lizzie claims she used the ingredients in Mellitox to drop her blood sugar from 498 to 117 while also losing 48 pounds of fat. Lizzie claims she no longer experiences any symptoms of type 2 diabetes after taking Mellitox.
Unfortunately, there’s no evidence that James and Lizzie exist, and we can’t verify Lizzie’s claims of defeating her diabetes with Mellitox.
We don’t know where Mellitox is made, although the company claims to make it in an FDA-registered, GMP-certified facility. We also don’t know where ingredients are sourced.

Final Word
Mellitox markets itself online as “the ultimate anti-type 2 diabetes formula.” Customers quoted on the Mellitox website claim to have reversed type 2 diabetes entirely after taking the formula.
Unfortunately, there’s no evidence Mellitox is safe or effective for diabetics to take. The supplement seems to contain low doses of adaptogen ingredients – not diabetes supplement ingredients. The company also does not disclose dosage information upfront, making it impossible to compare Mellitox to other, more proven diabetes supplements.
However, Mellitox is backed by a 60-day refund policy. If you don’t reverse your type 2 diabetes and eliminate all type 2 diabetes symptoms within 60 days of your purchase, then you are entitled to a complete refund.
