Cindy Ann Brown passed into the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, Feb. 26, 2021.

Cindy Ann Brown passed into the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, Feb. 26, 2021, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tacoma. She was 54 years old. Cindy was born to Chester and Shirley (Traversie) Brown on May 25, 1966, in South Bend, Washington.

She graduated from Aberdeen High School in 1984 and attended Grays Harbor College before transferring to the University of Washington.

Cindy was a proud member of the Muckleshoot Tribe in Auburn, Washington, and has many friends and relatives there who will miss “Cindy Bear.” She was a very caring person who made friends everywhere she went and was always going out of her way to help anyone who needed it. We know that she will be missed by the many friends she made throughout her life.

She is survived by her parents Chet and Shirley of Cosmopolis, Washington, a brother Cliff Brown of Enumclaw, Washington, a sister Christy Zelepuza of Aberdeen. She is also survived by her nephews Justin and Gabe Zelepuza who she loved as if they were her own, and her beloved dog Rosie.

Due to COVID, there was a private family graveside service at the Cosmopolis Cemetery on Monday, March 8.

Harrison Family Mortuary in Aberdeen was in charge of her funeral arrangements.
