Robert Lee Fluré

Robert Lee Fluré passed away peacefully on April 8, 2021, in Salem, Oregon. He was born July 3, 1945, in Sacramento, California, to Earl Jacob Fluré and Dorothy Irene Ridinger.

Robert loved life. He loved rock and roll, enjoyed dancing, long walks on the beach, hiking in the mountains, fishing, swimming and target practice. He enjoyed talking guns, hot rod cars, trucks and motorcycles and riding his Harley.

Robert was a truck driver for many years and was a proud Teamster. He loved his family and loved to reminisce about his growing up years in Alton, Illinois, where he began working in construction at a young age. Eventually, Robert made his home for 50 years in Western Washington.

He is survived by his wife, Louise Roberta Towner-Fluré of Independence, Oregon; brothers Larry and Chris and sister Carol, all of Sacramento, California; children Chris Molyneaux of New Mexico, Teresa Webster of Washington, Sharon Bruns of Oregon and Jessica Latch of Washington and 23 grandchildren.

Robert was Louise’s soulmate for life, a loving soul and dedicated husband, father, grandfather, uncle, cousin and friend who will be sorely missed but never forgotten.

A celebration of his life will be held on July 3, 2021, at the Chinook Winds Hotel in Lincoln City, Oregon.
