Hoquiam City Council meetings, which just recently started allowing for in-person participation, will return to Zoom-only Monday.

“After reviewing the state-wide mask mandate issued yesterday by Gov. Jay Inslee and State Secretary (of Health) Umair Shah, Mayor Ben Winkelman has determined that City Council meetings will be held by Zoom only until the mask restrictions are lifted,” read a statement from the city Thursday.

The next City Council meeting is Monday at 7 p.m. The City Council meeting agenda along with instructions on how to attend by zoom will be posted to the city website, cityofhoquiam.com.
