Jerrad Joseph Kellogg, 42, of Aberdeen passed on to be with loved ones on the other side on Aug. 28, 2021, at Grays Harbor Community Hospital. He was born July 25, 1979 (The Year of the Child) in Aberdeen, Washington, to Randall Rex and Janis Elizabeth (Cochenette) Kellogg.
Jerrad graduated from Aberdeen High School, Class of 1997. Following graduation, he attended Washington State University where he became a proud Cougar while earning a B.A. in Communications. After college he returned home to Grays Harbor to work as the sports reporter for the Montesano Vidette and later began a new career by starting a family business. He fulfilled one of his lifelong dreams by owning and operating Club 301 which he ran with his brother, Ryan Kellogg, in Ellensburg, Washington for several years.
Jerrad enjoyed many recreational activities. The Kellogg family and relatives played on a family volleyball team for several years and Jerrad was also involved in slow pitch and pool leagues as well as an avid bowler, his favorite sport. He also enjoyed the local outdoor activities including crabbing, fishing and especially clam digging.
Jerrad is preceded in death by his father Randall. He is survived by his mother Janis, of Aberdeen; sister Kristi Kellogg of Marysville; brother Ryan and his wife Kristina (McGee) Kellogg of Ellensburg; nieces Kamryn and Randi Kellogg and nephew Kannon Kellogg.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday Sept. 8, 2021, at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery in Hoquiam, Washington. Arrangements made by Coleman Mortuary.
