Bruce Edward Linker, 59, Hoquiam resident, passed away peacefully Friday, April 15, 2022, at Tacoma General Hospital in Tacoma, Washington.
Bruce was born on May 27, 1962, in Aberdeen to Rueben and Leava (Basgall) Linker. He was raised in Hoquiam and graduated from Hoquiam High School in 1981. He continued his education at Grays Harbor Community College.
He married Julie (Winkle) on Sept. 24, 1983, at Our Lady of Good Help Catholic Church.
Bruce worked for the Old Cannery Furniture Warehouse in Sumner, Washington for over 18 years and lately has been working with his son Adam at Wedgewood Construction.
Bruce enjoyed repairing stereos, going to the casino and spending time with his family.
He is survived by three sons: Adam Linker (LeAnne Moore) of Hoquiam with their two children Damon and Riley Linker, Blake Linker of Hoquiam, and Connor (Kelsea) Linker of Aberdeen with their daughter Avery Linker; and a brother, Larry Linker of Aberdeen.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Daniel Linker, and a sister Barbara Peak.
There will be a gathering of friends and family on May 27 at 11 a.m. with an inurnment at Fern Hill Cemetery, Aberdeen, Washington followed by a celebration of life at The Lions Club in Cosmopolis, Washington.
Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Twibell’s Fern Hill Funeral Home in Aberdeen, Washington.
